Every time you see me, think of SCRIP and how you can raise money for the school by shopping. Every week, you will receive a bright orange order form in your child’s book bag. On it are several retailers from which to choose. Return your order form on Monday morning, and your order will be placed by Monday afternoon. The gift cards will be returned to you via book bag by Thursday or Friday of that same week, ready for your weekend shopping!

 

  KROGER cards are available immediately.  The cards cost $5 and are loaded with $5. Each time you load the card, the school gets 5% of your purchase. ONLY the Kroger card is re-loadable. The other cards are throw-aways. The Kroger card is registered to St. Pat’s and must be purchased from this scrip program in order to benefit the school. Here’s how it works:  when you shop at Kroger, BEFORE you check out, tell the clerk you want to add money to the card at the check-out lane or go to the store office. Then check out as usual, using the card as you would a credit card. Any remaining balance can be used the next time you shop. If you spend $100, the school gets $5, and it adds up fast.   If you are spending money, use scrip.  All it takes is a little planning.  Prescriptions, gasoline, eating out, entertainment—all can be purchased with scrip.  You’re supporting the school every time you use scrip.
